'Present Traces of a Past Existence: A Photographic Research' reshapes the story of the Dutch diarist Etty Hillesum (Middelburg, 15 January 1914 - Auschwitz, 30 November 1943), her journey, the places and atmospheres about which she writes, combining archive research and photographic intervention. Sounds and words are superimposed on the images in an attempt to give the archived past a new structure.
